Research Activities and Interests

My interests range from agricultural labor markets, structure of agriculture, agricultural and rural development policies to the study of the agro-biotechnological revolution and the ‘turn to quality’ in agriculture since the 1990s. More recent topics of research are: the role of local knowledge in agriculture and rural development, territorial policies of rural development, models of food consumption, civic food networks and local food.
