Research Field, Activities and Interests

My current research topic is corporate finance in emerging and transition economies, with a special focus on the role of bank finance, trade credit and equity finance there. Investigating this topic, I aim to finally clarify the process for generation of entrepreneurs and markets in emerging and transition economies. Quality of institutions such as legal protection of property right, significance of political connection held by firms, contract enforcement and so on is attached great importance in this trial.
Furthermore, my another research interest is on how development of finance and improved quality of institutions lead to innovation by firms and are related with each other in promoting these innovation activities. Giving a particular attention to gathering and producing process of statistical data used also features my research. Areas of specialization are Comparative Economics and Developing Economics.
